The Kickin’ Crab is set to open at 16275 Harbor Boulevard in Fountain Valley, according to a California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control license application submitted by FV Cajun Seafood LLC.

The Kickin’ Crab is a seafood restaurant chain known for Cajun-style seafood boils. The restaurant offers a hands-on dining experience in which guests eat with their hands rather than using plates and utensils, with bibs provided to help keep things clean. The Kickin’ Crab has since expanded beyond California, with locations in Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Missouri, and Georgia.

According to the company’s website, its menu includes seafood served in bags, with options such as shrimp, mussels, clams, king crab legs, snow crab legs, Dungeness crab, lobster, and crawfish. Availability and prices vary by location.

The menu also includes seafood combination meals with ingredients such as corn, potatoes, and sausage. Other offerings include fried oysters, chicken wings, fish and shrimp baskets, Cajun fries, garlic noodles, and soups such as gumbo and chowder. Seafood boils can include different combinations of shellfish and seasonings.
