Supercharged Entertainment is preparing to bring a large-scale indoor go-karting and entertainment venue to Columbus, Ohio, with its Polaris location targeting a summer 2027 opening.
According to Columbus Business First, the project will span approximately 125,000 square feet and feature an indoor, multi-level go-karting track as its main attraction. The company broke ground on the development on Sept. 2, 2026, at 9300 Lyra Drive in the Polaris area.
The new venue will occupy part of a 16-acre site near other entertainment destinations, including Topgolf and Smash Park. It will mark Supercharged Entertainment’s fourth U.S. location and its first in Ohio.
The centerpiece of the complex will be an approximately 80,000-square-foot karting track featuring two tracks that can be combined into one larger course. The design will include 25 elevation changes, with electric go-karts operating on an indoor, temperature-controlled track.
Beyond racing, the venue will offer several attractions intended for families, groups, and visitors of different ages.
Plans include a two-story arcade and gaming area featuring nearly 180 games, including virtual reality experiences. The complex will also introduce Time Mission, an interactive attraction featuring more than 30 challenge rooms where teams can test their physical, mental, and problem-solving skills.
Additional attractions will include an indoor drop-and-spin tower ride, along with a full-service restaurant and bar. The venue is also expected to accommodate group gatherings and corporate events.
The combination of racing, games, rides, and dining is designed to make the location a destination for visitors looking for several entertainment options under one roof.
Supercharged Entertainment was founded by married couple Stephen Sangermano and Sandra Sangermano, who serve as president and CEO, respectively.
The company operates indoor entertainment venues featuring multi-level karting tracks and other attractions. Its existing locations are in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey.
The Columbus location will bring the company’s concept to the Midwest for the first time.
Supercharged Entertainment Polaris is targeting a summer 2027 opening. The groundbreaking took place in September 2026, with construction expected to continue ahead of the planned launch.
The venue will join the growing collection of entertainment, retail, and dining destinations in the Polaris area of Columbus.
