There’s an exciting development on the horizon for Maryland diners looking for a quick, delicious, and healthy bite. South Block, one of the DMV’s favorite homes for a nutritious snack, is opening a new location on Bethesda Row and it’s got the signage up to prove it, reports journalist Robert Dyer.
South Block will be serving up its signature acai bowls, smoothies, and juices at 4827 Bethesda Avenue. The company’s director of marketing, Alex Lawrence, kindly confirmed the location with What Now DC and established that the eatery will be opening its Bethesda Row storefront next spring-allowing plenty of time for anticipation to grow.
Amir Mostafavi founded South Block in 2011. The brand quickly became an area staple, thanks to its stated mission- ”making people feel awesome one block at a time by spreading good vibes and fresh food.” South Block now has 27 locations open and is enjoying steady growth across the region.
