As first reported by the Dayton Business Journal, Dutch Bros, a growing Oregon-based coffee chain, appears to be making plans to open another Dayton store. According to the article, Dutch Bros has recently filed a commercial building permit with Montgomery County for a store at 7922 N Dixie Dr, on the north side of Dayton.

Last fall, What Now Columbus reported on the company’s permit filing near the University of Dayton, at 1141 Brown St. It isn’t clear when either location will open. What Now Columbus reached out to the coffee chain for information on the anticipated timeline for opening the North Dixie Drive location, but a representative with the company stated that additional details aren’t available at this stage of the potential project.

Per information on its website, the coffee company is currently located in over a dozen states. The drive-thru chain’s menu features a number of coffee drinks that are available hot, iced or frozen, which the establishment blends with flavors and ice, and is called a Blended Freeze, there’s also nitro, cold brew and protein coffee. For non-coffee drinkers the options range from energy drinks, smoothies, milkshakes, tea and hot cocoa.
