Bar Americano and Bar Crema shuttered in Buckhead Saturday night after a short six-month stint, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution Sunday first reported.

The Italian restaurant and coffee bar respectively, owned and operated by 10 Apart restaurant group—The PinewoodThe Mercury, and Deep End—were situated in the East Andrews district.

“Not enough people liked what we were doing,” Brooks Cloud, a partner at 10 Apart, over the weekend said of the closure on Instagram.

“The team did their best but sometimes it just doesn’t go the way you hope.”

Bar Americano and Bar Crema first debuted in November 2017 following 10 Apart’s opening of Deep End in Old Fourth Ward.
