CupPoki, the newest local-born poke concept, is gearing up to open in the Mall of Georgia.

July 20 will be the quick-service restaurant’s first day in the shopping center, according to June Lee, the concept’s director of expansion.

In addition to poke (a traditional Hawaiian raw fish dish), “CupBap” (a Korean barbeque rice bowl) and “Bibim Bap” (a “traditional” Korean rice bowl) are also on the menu.

The forthcoming CupPoki will be the second Atlanta-area location for the company, joining the original store in Kennesaw.

Up to at least eight additional storefronts—a combination of franchise and corporate-owned—could open in the Atlanta-area over the next two years.

Lee and his team are currently scouting the market for the planned outposts.

The company’s second and third markets will be Athens, Georgia followed by unspecified Florida cities.
