Serenbe is getting two new restaurants and its current culinary lineup will soon be overhauled.
Halsa, a “health-conscious” eatery and a yet-to-be-named Italian restaurant are on deck for the community, Atlanta Magazine Tuesday first reported.
Serenbe marketing materials confirm the plans.
Halsa, set to open in the fall, will be situated in Mado, an under-development “wellness neighborhood” inside Serenbe.
The “vegetable-forward” restaurant will occupy space in One Mado, a commercial office and retail space focused on wellbeing and sustainability.
“With just under 30,000 sq. ft. of commercial space, the three-story One Mado Building will be anchored on the ground floor by a new concept, upscale fast-casual restaurant, Halsa,” according to the projet’s marketing materials.
“Serving as a regional dining destination while creating a ‘third space’ for residents, visitors and your clients to frequent around appointments.”
A yet-to-be-named Italian eatery, slated to open at Serenbe in 2019 in a space adjacent the Hill, will serve the usual suspects like pizza, pasta, and small plates.
Both restaurants will be overseen by Nicolas Bour who worked on Serenbe’s food and beverage program nearly a decade ago, according to Atlanta Magazine.
Bour is also overhauling the community’s current culinary lineup “fine-tuning” menus at Farmhouse, the Hill, and Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop.
