Chick-fil-A is bringing back its Spicy Chick-n-Strips for a limited-time test at two Atlanta-area restaurants. The test could help determine whether the item expands to additional markets.
Chick-fil-A is Bringing Its Spicy Chick-n-Strips to Two Atlanta Restaurants
Chick-fil-A is testing Spicy Chick-n-Strips at its Chick-fil-A Sandy Springs and Chick-fil-A Sprayberry restaurants. The item is available from July 20 through Sept. 12, 2026, in 3-count, 4-count, and 10-count entrées, as well as meal options that include fries and a drink.
According to Snackolaor, the Spicy Chick-n-Strips were previously tested in select U.S. markets before being discontinued. Now, the menu item is returning in this new Atlanta test and could eventually see a wider rollout if the test proves successful.
The Spicy Chick-n-Strips test is part of Chick-fil-A’s 2026 ‘Newstalgia’ summer campaign. The campaign celebrates the brand’s 80-year heritage. The campaign also includes the returning Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, Peach Milkshake, and Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages.

Chick-fil-A’s Spicy Chick-n-Strips are a spicy version of the chain’s classic chicken strips. They are made from the most tender portion of the chicken breast. A blend of spicy peppers is used to season the chicken strips, after which it is hand-breaded and cooked in 100% refined peanut oil.
The Spicy Chick-n-Strips come with a choice of dipping sauce. It offers a crispy outside, a juicy inside, and a noticeable peppery kick with every bite. The heat level is mild to medium, spicier than the classic Chick-n-Strips but not overwhelmingly hot.
Customers visiting the Sandy Springs and Sprayberry restaurants can also order Spicy Chick-n-Strips through the Chick-fil-A app for dine-in, pickup, or delivery where available.
The limited-time test gives Atlanta-area customers an opportunity to try the returning menu item before any potential wider rollout.
