Atlanta Barbecue Company in College Park is switching hands.

Hank Johnson has taken over the space, at 3807 Main Street, and will open Tom, Dick, and Hank in its place.

The transition could be completed by the end of November, Johnson in a telephone interview told What Now Atlanta Wednesday.

It will be the second outpost for Tom, Dick, and Hank, a “fusion barbeque restaurant that boasts an imaginative menu pushing traditional smoked fare to creative new bounds.”

The restaurant’s original location is housed downtown, at 191 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd SW.

Aside from signage, little to no renovations are expected during the transition.

Walter Jordan with the Dogwood Restaurant Consulting Group is working with Johnson on the transition.

Down the street, Soul Crab is replacing Radial Cafe, also under the direction of Jordan.
