Cousins Maine Lobster has inked a deal to open its second Atlanta-area restaurant.

The seafood restaurant will be situated in Marietta Square Market.

Tony Harrison, the Cousins Maine Lobster franchise operator for Atlanta, and owner of the forthcoming Marietta outpost, confirmed the news in an email to What Now Atlanta Monday.

It will open early-January, 2019, he said.

More details would be shared next week, according to Harrison.

The first Atlanta-area location of the restaurant known for its lobster roll earlier this year debuted in Lenox Square Mall.

Harisson also operates two local Cousins Maine Lobster food trucks which is how the company first started.

With the addition of the seafood restaurant, Marietta Square Market is now 100 percent leased, the under-construction development announced on its Facebook page.

“Cousins Maine Lobster will be the final vendor joining us in January when we open 100 percent leased,” according to the social media post.
