Southern Proper Hospitality later this month will open its new Street Taco restaurant in Marietta Square Market, at 68 North Marietta Parkway NW.
Street Taco promises “authentic and adventurous Mexican street food.”
“Street Taco offers a dining experience unlike anything else you’ll find in Marietta Square Market,” Alex Curley, COO at Southern Proper, said in a press release Wednesday.
“Our creative, contemporary take on Mexican street cuisine emphasizes fresh ingredients and creative cocktails served in a vibrant, exciting atmosphere, that brings the energy, sights, and sounds of the Mexican streets to Marietta.”
The menu centers on a selection of street tacos, a series of antojitos (snacks), street tortas, and other daily specials.
A full-service bar will serve margaritas, frozen drinks, traditional Mexican cocktails, wine, and beer.
Street Taco’s interior sports an original mural from Mexican street artist Neuzz.
The restaurant also features counter service and provides both indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 150 guests.
Southern Proper Hospitality is currently hiring front of the house and back of the house positions at Street Taco. Those interested in applying should stop by for an interview from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday at the restaurant.
Marietta Square Market, an 18,500-square-foot food hall similar to Ponce City Market and Krog Street Market, is located in a converted warehouse adjacent to the historic Marietta Square at 68 North Marietta Parkway.
The food hall will grand open on March 28.
Most of its tenants are expected to follow suit.
