Chicago-based Aloha Poke Co. Monday announced plans to expand to Atlanta through franchising.

The poke chain currently has 18 locations across four states and a U.S. territory: Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida, and Washington D.C.

“Aloha Poke has inspired long lines of raving fans looking for healthier, innovative real food that goes beyond the simple salad and appeals both to foodies and healthy eaters alike,” Chris Birkinshaw, CEO of Aloha Poke Co, said in a press release Monday.

“Our better-for-you poke bows are packed with fresh, mostly-raw ingredients, and are completely customizable to a wide array of diets and lifestyles, including gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and paleo options.”

Birkinshaw and his team are actively seeking individuals and multi-unit franchise owners in Atlanta.

Ideal franchisees must have restaurant operations and management experience, as well as share the brand’s values and mission, according to the release.

Aloha Poke Co. serves long-line caught ahi tuna, salmon raised without antibiotics, cage-free no-antibiotics chicken, steamed shrimp, and tofu, alongside other ingredients and sauces, available in a “pack your own bowl (P.Y.O.B)” option with “endless combinations.”
