A new crêperie called Miss Crepas is expected to open at 1775 Tropicana Ave. this summer.

After building up her tax and insurance company for 12 years, Adriana Mendoza will be opening her first restaurant, where she plans to sell crepes, ice cream, smoothies, halo-halo, and churros.

Despite the distant opening date, Miss Crepas has gained a great deal of traction on social media — their Facebook page has already accumulated over 500 followers.

Miss Crepas’s social media manager and partner, Abel Ortiz, spoke with What Now Las Vegas about the public anticipation surrounding the new restaurant.

“I also manage the social media for USA Taxes and Insurance, and as you can imagine, I’ve never gotten this kind of response,” Ortiz said. “Crepes sell themselves, and Adriana makes great crepes.”

Mendoza’s company USA Taxes and Insurance is also located at Tropicana and Spencer. They provide tax and DMV services, as well as home and auto insurance brokering.
