James Beard Award-winning Chef Michael Mina’s innovative restaurant management company MINA Group and Executive Chef and Partner Adam Sobel will bring a new fast-casual restaurant to the UnCommons, the $400 million, 40-acre project by Matter Real Estate Group that is currently under construction at 215 Beltway and Durango Drive.
The name of MINA Group’s newest concept has yet to be named. However, the forthcoming restaurant will “blend East Coast nostalgia with premium ingredients for a vibrant experience in southwest Las Vegas.”
“When we first heard about UnCommons, we immediately recognized that this was going to be like nothing else and jumped at the opportunity to debut our first Las Vegas concept beyond the Strip,” Mina said in a press release. “We have no doubt that UnCommons is set to become the first choice for locals seeking a dynamic portfolio of culinary options in a destination-worthy setting.”
UnCommons’s stylized urban campus will be comprised of 800 luxury residential units and provide more than 500,000 square feet of modern office space complete with rich amenities including an entertainment venue, a multi-purpose conference room, contemporary restaurants and cafes, health and fitness studios, a pedestrian trail, and an impressive 18,000-square-foot food hall made up of contemporary restaurants that follow the good food movement.
Mina and Sorbel’s fast-casual restaurant will debut in early 2022 with the unveiling of the highly anticipated, utopian UnCommons situated midway between Henderson and Summerlin.
