After more than a year of repairs, the original location of Lindo Michoacán will celebrate its grand reopening next Thursday, July 15th.
Owner and Chef Javier Barajas first debuted Lindo Michoacán in 1990. What began as a small restaurant with 12 tables blossomed into an expansive restaurant with three dining rooms that seat over 300 people. Lindo Michoacán has since grown a devoted fanbase and expanded to two other locations in Summerlin and Henderson.
Lindo Michoacán prides itself in bringing the great food and cultural traditions of Michoacán, one of México’s main agricultural producers, to Las Vegas. The menu is filled with exquisite, traditional dishes such as Gallo al Mojo de Ajo (chicken breast fillet cooked in olive oil, wine, fresh garlic and slices of Guajillo pepper); Camarones al Mango Habanera (large fresh Mexican Gulf shrimp sautéd over mango purèe with a touch of habanero salsa made with fresh grilled tomatoes, garlic, onions and fresh habanero peppers); and Milanesa con Papas (New York steak cut thin, breaded, pan-fried and served with french fries and guacamole).
Come celebrate the reopening of the original Lindo Michoacán at 2655 E Desert Inn Road this coming Thursday, July 15th.
