Mandalay Bay will soon see the opening of S Bar Las Vegas, a “sensual and elegant social space” from global lifestyle and hospitality company SBE Hospitality.

S Bar will feature a “lush indoor lounge,” along with bookable event space and DJ booth. It will have a VIP room that seats 13 guests, and a back lounge that seats 44, for a “semi-private experience,” and also offers a buyout option for a 136-guest “seated experience” and a 200-guest reception. The floor plan features a centrally-located bar surrounded by lounge-style seating in several rooms.

Details about S Bar’s menu remain scarce, but it promises “artful mixology & innovative cocktails paired with decadent, shareable bites.”

SBE Hospitality is a privately held company that develops, manages, and operates hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality destinations. Its roster of Las Vegas restaurants includes Citizens Kitchen & Bar (also at Mandalay Bay), Kumi Restaurant + Bar, and Bazaar Meat Las Vegas.

At Mandalay Bay, S Bar will join in a community of high-class dining locations, including award-winning chef Shawn McClain’s gastro pub Libertine Social, Lupo by Wolfgang Puck, and Chef Alain Ducasse’s Rivea.

An opening date for S Bar Las Vegas has yet to be announced.

What Now Las Vegas reached out SBE’s Henderson-based Director of Operations Nolan Lambertsen on Monday morning. Lambertsen was unavailable for comment.
