Where’s The Scoop, a Thai-inspired rolled ice cream shop, will open a third location, this time adjacent to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail inside the Midtown Connection Shopping Center across from Piedmont Park.

It is slated to open spring 2020.

The shop replaces the last Atlanta location of Yoforia, besides the remaining airport outpost in Concourse D.

“I am happy to announce Where’s The Scoop will be carrying on the tradition of a neighborhood, family frozen dessert shop,” according to a note posted on the doors of Yoforia, shared by What Now Atlanta reader Aaron Sentell.

“We have truly enjoyed serving this community and watching families grow. As life changes, our hearts have been pulled toward family. Thank you for 9 years of joy.”

Yoforia West Midtown in the Westside Provisions District closed its doors for good and was replaced by Tammie StokesCafe West Express.

Yoforia’s Morningside and Brookhaven locations have also shuttered.

Where’s The Scoop Owners Zak Khimji and Zein Rahemtulla are planning at least two ITP locations of the shop, including the forthcoming Midtown storefront.

The first opened in Johns Creek’s Haynes Bridge Shopping Center in 2017, and a second in the Downtown Alpharetta restaurant and retail district, at 26 Old Roswell St.

Details have not yet been disclosed on the second ITP location.
