La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant is heading to Aria Village in Sandy Springs adjacent to the Mercedes USA HQ.
A new blade sign for the restaurant went up this week.
La Parrilla Co-Owner Jairo Troncoso confirmed the forthcoming outpost with What Now Atlanta on a call Friday morning.
“We are thinking we’ll be ready and open by August this year,” Troncoso said.
The Atlanta-based chain is the “official” Mexican restaurant of the Atlanta United soccer team.
In 2018, La Cosecha Group, the hospitality and ownership team behind La Parrilla, chose another mixed-use development in Sandy Springs, Modera Sandy Springs, for their “chef-driven Oaxacan” concept Casi Cielo, at 6125 Roswell Road.
At the time, they cited the Sandy Springs mixed-used development’s centralized location, guaranteed foot traffic and the area’s culinary and cultural ripeness for authentic, refined Mexican food.
At Aria Village, La Parrilla will be taking the 4,163-square-foot Suite 6 in the building with the parking garage closest to Abernathy Road.
The mixed-use development at Aria Village includes 30,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and 200,000 square feet of office buildings located at the corner of Glenridge Drive and Abernathy Road.
The Alastair at Aria residential units recently opened and are currently leasing.
