Atlanta Stove Works, Krog Street Market, and SPX Alley — three adjacent Inman Park and Old Fourth Ward developments that straddle the Atlanta BeltLine — soon will jointly become “The Krog District” as Asana Partners moves to combine and expand the mixed-use projects into one. The Charlotte-based developer in recent years has acquired all three mixed-use developments and ahead of announcing The Krog District brand, is renovating and expanding the developments.

“Along the Eastside BeltLine Trail, The Krog District bridges the historic Inman Park and Old Fourth Ward neighborhoods in Atlanta, Georgia,” a landing page for the new district states. “The District includes award-winning food hall Krog Street Market, the historic Atlanta Stove Works building, and the thriving SPX Alley development in addition to a new phase of mixed-use construction, breaking ground in April 2020.”

It’s unclear what the “new phase” includes in its entirety, and a spokesperson for The Krog District declined to comment on the plans when reached Monday by What Now Atlanta, but several projects in the district are underway. The portion of Atlanta Stove Works that used to house Rathbun’s and Krog Bar is being transformed into a breezeway that connects the property to the BeltLine and over at Krog Street Market, permitting is underway for a new mixed-use building that will add additional retail and office space to the development.
