Coffee shop renovating to add new bar area for planned beer, liquor and wine program expansion.

Inman Perk Coffee is planning to take full advantage of its recently acquired liquor license.

The coffee shop, at 240 N. Highland Avenue, started serving beer in August. Soon, it will open a full bar most likely serving beer, wine and liquor, according to Jordan Stubbs, barista at Inman Perk.

“The bar will give Inman Perk a new edge,” Stubbs told What Now Atlanta on a trip to the coffee shop Sunday evening.

Inman Perk has began construction on a separate bar area with its own cash register that will be designated for the sale of alcoholic beverages and seating inside coffee shop has been re-arranged to make way for the new bar.

What Now Atlanta has not confirmed when Inman Perk will begin serving a wider variety of libations or when its bar will open.
