Another Panda Express is proposed for the Peach State.

The fast-food Chinese restaurant is planned for the corner of Highway 441 and Diana Way in Commerce, according to construction plans. The nearly 2,700-square-foot restaurant would have indoor seating for 52 people. The documents also indicate plans for a drive-thru.

Panda Express first opened in 1983 in Glendale, California. There are now more than 2,500 locations worldwide. The menu includes dishes like orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef, kung pao chicken and more alongside sides like rice, chow mein and vegetables.

There are currently 72 Panda Express locations in Georgia. One is also planned for Lawrenceville.

Commerce is northeast of Atlanta.
