UPDATE (Nov. 19, 2018): Crafthall Kitchen Has Temporarily Closed in Sandy Springs

Restaurant marketing veteran Jennifer Rotondo is planning Crafthall Kitchen for Sandy Springs.

The new concept, billed as a “micro food hall,” will house four unique concepts at any-given time in a single restaurant-sized space, at 1165 Perimeter Center W.

Crafthall Kitchen’s initial concepts include Fowl & Scratch, serving fried chicken; Sugar Britches, serving “sticky” chicken wings; Bowl Cookhouse, serving bowls with a vegetable focus; and Salty Bandita, serving “un-lady-like” tacos.

“I just want people to know that they’re welcome to enjoy a fast, friendly environment where they’ll get extremely flavorful food,” Rotondo in a telephone interview Thursday told What Now Atlanta.

After a 20+ year career in restaurant marketing, this will be Rotondo’s first independent restaurant, she said.

Rotondo worked as the Director of Marketing for Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a position she held for three years while simultaneously running her restaurant-focused branding agency The Kitch.

Rotondo envisions Crafthall Kitchen as an incubator for new restaurant concepts with the ability to quickly switch-out concepts. Including the four initial brands, nine concepts are already complete and ready to be swapped into the space.

The menu for Crafthall Kitchen’s diverse brands were developed alongside Chef Kirk Biondi and other culinary “creatives.”

Chef Biondi is a corporate chef and consultant who has worked with Rotondo in the past.

Crafthall KItchen is expected to open early 2018.
