A new brewery and community hub is in the works in downtown Carrollton – and it will serve more than beer.
Dream City Brewing Company is planned for 120 Newnan Street. It is expected to serve craft beer, coffee and tea and include an outdoor patio.
The concept comes from brothers Joel and Chris Pollard and their spouses, Katie and Ashley. The vision of Dream City Brewing Company is to “create a welcoming community space in their native West Georgia – a safe gathering place where patrons can enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of craft beer, coffee, and tea,” according to the company’s website.
The Pollards had always dreamed of going into business together, and the inspiration for Dream City Brewing Company came after Joel began home brewing in 2020, according to a press release.
The business is going into the space formerly occupied by Alley Cat Restaurant & Bar, which is now closed.
