Atlanta’s dining scene continues to grow this year with several restaurant openings on the horizon. From expanding regional chains to new independent concepts, several restaurants are preparing to open across the metro area.

Last week, WhatNow reported several upcoming restaurant openings that will elevate Atlanta’s dining experience. The lineup includes an expanding Indian restaurant, a dessert café, a Latin American concept, a seafood restaurant, and more. Here’s what’s coming to metro Atlanta.

Volcano Steak & Sushi

Volcano Steak & Sushi is expanding its presence in the Atlanta metro area with its newest location in McDonough. The restaurant will occupy a space of approximately 7,000 to 8,000 square feet.

The new restaurant is expected to open in October 2027. The menu will feature hibachi entrees and specialty sushi rolls. Read more about the upcoming opening here.

Decadent Coffee & Dessert Bar

Decadent Coffee & Dessert Bar is opening in McDonough this year. Local realtor Simmi Patel is opening the dessert café. Patel said she hopes to introduce the brand’s desserts and specialty beverages to the area.

The new location will feature a contemporary design and a spacious dining area. The menu will include the brand’s skillet cookies, fudge brownies, specialty mochas, and more. Find out more about the upcoming opening here.

Hashtag India

Hashtag India is expanding in metro Atlanta with a new Sandy Springs location. Following its metro Atlanta debut in Suwanee, the brand is opening its newest location in Sandy Springs. It is expected to open in late summer, taking over a 5,900-square-foot space.

The restaurant is currently operating 13 locations nationwide. The menu will offer their signature mandi rice platters, biryani, and cocktails. Here is more information on the upcoming opening.

Cooper’s Hawk

Cooper’s Hawk is expanding into metro Atlanta with a new Dunwoody location. The restaurant is expected to open in 2027 in Dunwoody. The restaurant will offer its signature upscale casual dining experience alongside its Napa-inspired wine program.

The brand is currently operating more than 70 locations nationwide. The menu includes pasta, burgers, filet mignon, chicken piccata, and red wine-braised short ribs. Learn more about the upcoming opening here.

Botánico Cocina & Social Club

Felipe Rivera and Eduardo Rivera are opening Botánico Cocina & Social Club. The concept is expected to open in Midtown in mid-August. The restaurant will serve dishes inspired by Latin American cuisine.

The restaurant will feature bohemian-inspired interiors. The menu will include sea bass ceviche, chicken tamales, shrimp cocktails, and more. Get more information on the opening here.

Siren

A new seafood concept, Siren, is opening its doors in Brookhaven in late summer. The concept comes from restaurateur Michel Arnette, the owner of Arnette’s Chop Shop. The team has not yet shared details about the menu or interior design.

A new sushi restaurant, An, is coming to Midtown. It is owned by Tram Anh Nguyen, who also owns Anh’s Kitchen. The restaurant will occupy a 3,326-square-foot space.

The new restaurant will operate Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Nguyen said she looks forward to bringing the new sushi concept to Midtown. Read more about the upcoming opening here.
