A fast-food chain that’s “all about the South” is working on another location in northwest Georgia.

Jack’s Family Restaurants appears to have a location in the works in LaFayette, according to construction documents. The freestanding restaurant would be 3,265 square feet.

The Jack’s menu includes burgers, fried chicken, biscuits, breakfast items and milkshakes. The concept first began in 1960 as a walk-up hamburger stand in Alabama. It has since grown to more than 200 locations in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Construction bids on the upcoming LaFayette location will be accepted until Jan. 7, 2025.

LaFayette is located in Walker County.
