The new 3,000-square-foot space might be called ‘War Horse.’

Local Three could soon expand by nearly 3,000 square feet.

The restaurant’s owner trio, Ryan Tucker Turner, Chris Hall and Todd Mussman, are looking to add a “private club area with dining, casual seating and bar,” according to a permit application this week filed with City of Atlanta.

The existing kitchen and dining area would remain as is.

The new space could be called War Horse, according to that same application. A Local Three spokesperson would not confirm the name with What Now Atlanta earlier this week.

An estimated $560,000 could be spent building out the new addition that would be reserved for corporate events and weddings looking to rent a private bar. The space could also act as additional seating for Local Three when the main dining room is at capacity.
