A new café is planned for Oakland City.

Dreams of Paradise Café, also referred to as D.O.P. Café, is proposed for 1265 Lee Street SW, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The estimated cost of construction on the 925-square-foot space is $20,000.

D.O.P. Café comes from Mario and Aurore Brinson. What Now Atlanta has reached out to the owners for more information and will update this story when we learn more.

For now, a Facebook page for the restaurant describes it as serving “food influenced from around the world,” with plans to feature breakfast and lunch sandwiches, bowls and sides, as well as wine and elevated upscale dishes on weekends.
