Gusto! To Open North Decatur Square Development Outpost

North Decatur Square, a forthcoming 90,000-square-foot commercial project at 2642 North Decatur Road, has secured a lease with gusto!, Nate Hybl, founder of the fast-growth restaurant in an email Wednesday confirmed with What Now Atlanta (WNA.)

“We’re excited to be a part of this dynamic project and we can’t wait to be a part of the kick-ass Decatur community,” Hybl said.

gusto! would open “early summer 2018” in a 2,499-square-foot corner space, according to the project’s site plan, the restaurant’s third Atlanta-area location.

But the North Decatur Square location won’t be the newest gusto! according to Hybl, who said his team is working on another deal “in-between.”

The concept, which offers a menu of grilled proteins served on a bed of lettuce, rice, or in a wrap, and tossed with a “gusto,” a “crafted blend of ingredients, adding to each entrée a distinct flavor profile and texture,” has existing locations in Brookwood and Virginia-Highland.

North Decatur Square, anchored by 365 By Whole Foods Market, could also be getting Takorea – a Korean, Mexican-fusion taco joint – as well as Hollywood Feed, and Sage Dental, according to the latest project site plan.

Takorea’s Tomas Lee did not immediately return our request for comment.
