SAYO Japanese Restaurant will be opening this summer in Peachtree Hills. It will open in the former STARFISH space at 2255 Peachtree Rd NE, Suite F. Owner Karen Halim told What Now Atlanta that the team is aiming for an opening by July.

The chef-driven menu will feature signature appetizers and sushi offerings, including nigiri, sashimi and rolls such as A5 Wagyu and bluefin tuna. SAYO will offer chef tastings for those interested in a curated experience.

Halim said they have made some cosmetic changes to the 2,121-square-foot, 50-seat space. Alcohol licensing paperwork filed with the Neighborhood Planning Unit indicates that the hours of operation will be 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
