Plans were officially submitted today with the City of Atlanta to bring a new barbecue establishment to Buckhead, at 128 East Andrews Drive.
From owner Chris Haderman of Big Ketch and Tin Lizzy’s, Smokebelly BBQ will take space Tavern 99 previously occupied.
What Now Atlanta uncovered architectural plans for the new restaurant including “fire damage remediation and interior finish renovation.”
Smokebelly is slated to open in February 2014, according to the barbecue restaurant’s Facebook page.
