Superica, a Tex-Mex restaurant founded by four-time James Beard nominated chef and restaurateur Ford Fry, has officially opened the doors to its newest location, a 6,000-square-foot space located at 1220 Ashford Crossing within Ashford Lane in Dunwoody.

The menu features modern twists on Mexican classics, including quesadillas, enchiladas, and fajitas. Each dish is an homage to the Tex-Mex cuisine Ford grew up eating and cooking in Houston. The menu includes street-style tacos, fajitas al carbon, and the traditional taco dinner, which includes three tacos, refried frijoles, and Mexican rice.

Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Foodies can enjoy a variety of breakfast staples such as huevos rancheros, tamales and eggs, chorizo, potatoes, hot cakes, and tropical fruit salad. Superica also features a well-rounded beverage program, including house-made margaritas crafted with locally sourced spirits and agaves alongside additional specialty cocktails, plus a collection of wines and local brews.

“We like to build restaurants around what the community might need or want and what really speaks to each neighborhood, so Dunwoody, we hear you…no more lengthy drives to your nearest Superica,” said Ford Fry, chef-owner of Superica in a statement. “We’re bringing the cold margs and Tex-Mex staples I grew up on to you (pro tip: ask for your tacos ‘Rico’ style). We’re also proud to be in the mix with a solid lineup of brands Ashford Lane is introducing to the area.”

Superica is open for lunch from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. on Monday – Friday, for dinner 5 – 10 p.m. on Monday – Thursday and 5 – 11 p.m. on Friday, plus 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Sunday.
