Local brand Taqueria Taquito Express is planning to add a new location. It will bring a new restaurant to 1165 McLendon Ave. NE in Little Five Points, according to a recent permit filing.
The permit indicated plans for renovations on a 350-square-foot building to prepare the new Taqueria Taquito Express location.
The brand currently has 12 locations spread across the Greater Atlanta area, including restaurants in Chamblee, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, Johns Creek, Kennesaw, Marietta, Sandy Springs, Peachtree Corners, Snellville and Virginia-Highlands. Taqueria Taquito Express offers Mexican cuisine including tacos, burritos, tortas, sandwiches, quesadillas, nachos and pupusas.
Owner Chris Murphy confirmed the forthcoming location in a message with What Now Atlanta but could not provide additional information prior to the time of publication. An exact opening remains unclear, but the Little Five Points location is listed as “coming soon” on the Taqueria Taquito Express website.
