A soon-to-open Berkeley Park taco joint is changing its name for the third and (hopefully) final time.

Tuza, most recently called Street Taco and Taco 404 before that, is set to open early October, a company spokesperson Wednesday told What Now Atlanta in an email.

“As with any restaurant, there is a brainstorming period and the team decided on a name change that made a little more sense with the theme we’re going with, that of authentic Mexican fare and fresh ingredients,” the spokesperson said.

“Additionally, the Southern Proper team is also opening a concept called Street Taco so we decided to move forward with a name change.”

Southern Proper, the restaurant group behind Tin Lizzy’s, is opening “Street Taco” in the forthcoming Marietta Square Market.

Once Tuza opens, the restaurant will offer “made-to-order recipes” including tacos, craft cocktails, and other Mexican fare.

Construction is on track with completed elements inside and outside including a covered side patio, bar seating and inside seating for about 50 guests.

There will be valet parking as well as self-serve parking.
