Lemon Perfect, a California-based company centered around a line of cold-pressed lemon waters, is moving their office from Los Angeles to a space within the Stockyards development at 956 Brady Ave NW.
“I was looking for a city with great culture and diversity; a fantastic airport; a business-friendly environment; big sports; product-market fit (which we have found at Publix) and, above all, a place that we felt like we could make a meaningful impact in the community and truly call home,” company CEO Yanni Hufnagel told What Now Atlanta.
The company’s certified-organic, five-calorie beverage comes in four flavors —dragonfruit mango, blueberry açaí, peach raspberry and straight-to-the-point lemon — and is packed with antioxidants and electrolytes. Lemon Perfect purports that organic lemons ease digestion, boost the immune system, clear skin, promote heart health and have a slew of other healing and preventative properties.
In August of last year, the company raised over $6 million toward its expansion, calling upon investors in the entertainment industry and venture capitalists for funding. On January 9, the company set forth on another fundraising initiative via a new equity offering, according to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and have raised over $15 million toward an $18 million dollar goal thus far.
Lemon Perfect is currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta for its new offices. Building out the 4,828 square-foot space is expected to cost $125,000, according to the application filed by Square Feet Studio Wednesday.
