Tech powerplayer Meta appears to have a concept on the way to Buckhead. Meta Lab has filed permits for a 2,150-square-foot space at Lenox Square at 3393 Peachtree, Space 3082, according to a recent permit filing.
Meta Lab launched in 2022 in Burlingame, Calif., and later expanded to locations in Las Vegas, West Hollywood, Honolulu and New York City. The West Hollywood and New York City locations serve as flagships for the brand.
Meta Lab is designed to serve as an experiential space where customers can experience demos with new AI and virtual reality products and purchase Meta products. Retail offerings include the Ray-Bay Meta glasses, products from Reality Labs (Meta’s research and development team), and a variety of AI glasses and virtual reality headsets such as the Meta Quest line.
The flagship stores tend to have unique design elements that represent the cities in which they are located. For example, the New York location offered nods to New York City skate culture and featured local businesses and artists.
As of now, further details regarding an opening timeline and design details for the Lenox Square location remain unclear. What Now Atlanta reached out to Meta for additional information but did not hear back prior to the time of publication.
