Sierra is opening its newest location in Buford, Georgia. The new location marks another step in the brand’s expansion under the TJX Companies umbrella. The occasion will be celebrated with a grand opening.
Sierra to Expand with New Store in Buford
Sierra is expanding its footprint with the opening of a new location in Buford. This will be the brand’s third location in the Atlanta area and will open on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The brand is part of the TJX family of brands, like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Homesense.
The store will open at the Marketplace at Mill Creek, at 1600 Mall of Georgia Blvd., Suite 1500. This opening follows its stores in McDonough and Dawsonville. The latter opened just recently, on April 11, 2026.
The new location spans over a 20,000-square-foot space featuring top-brand apparel and footwear. It will also feature gear for hiking, running, and everyday movement. All these items will be offered at 20% to 60% off department and specialty store prices.
Grand Opening Event
To celebrate the opening of the new location, Sierra will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. This will be followed by Sierra-branded giveaways and gift cards that will be hidden throughout the store. These will be offered via a hang-tag activity.
The brand will also donate $10,000 to a local Buford charity during the opening ceremony. This opening will also impact the local community through active hiring for full- and part-time positions.
