A beauty retailer has signed a lease in Calhoun.

Ulta Beauty will be located in a 8,514-square-foot space at Indian Hills, a shopping center at 429 Hwy 53 East. Halpern Enterprises, Inc. executed the lease. Shelley Jordan Bell of Atlantic Retail represented the tenant in the transaction.

The largest beauty retailer in the U.S., Ulta Beauty has nearly 1,400 stores across the U.S., including 43 in Georgia. The stores offer cosmetics, skin care products, hair products, fragrances and salon services.

Ulta Beauty isn’t the only national retailer joining the shopping center; last November, Halpern signed a lease with Marshalls to open a 23,000-square-foot store there.

“We’re pleased to bring another leading retailer to Indian Hills and enhance the tenant mix,” Halpern Regional Leasing Director Dan Gagne said in a statement. “Ulta joins nationally recognized brands to provide a dynamic and convenient shopping experience to the community.”

Indian Hills is 98 percent leased. The 128,730-square-foot shopping center is co-anchored by Tractor Supply Co. and Ross and also features brands like Five Below, Mattress Firm, Hibbett Sports, GNC, PT Solutions, Cato and The UPS Store. Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A and Captain D’s are located on outparcels of the property.
