Walmart will remodel 13 stores across Georgia throughout the year, including seven locations in the Greater Atlanta area, according to a release.

The remodels are part of a larger push by the company to modernize their in-store experience, offering layout, technology and service upgrades. The new stores will offer free Pharmacy delivery for Walmart+ members and a store-based app experience to assist with in-store navigation.

Overall, the company is planning to remodel more than 650 Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets throughout the year, including the Georgia locations.

The brand is aiming to build on their investment in the state of Georgia, which has totaled $961.5 million over the past five years.

“Walmart has been part of the communities across Georgia for generations,” Nick Berkeley, senior vice president of the Southeast Business Unit, Walmart U.S., said in the release. “By modernizing our store, we’re making shopping easier, whether customers are walking the aisles, picking up an order on the go or having essentials delivered when life gets busy. We’re proud of our legacy here and look forward to helping families save time and live better every day.”

Atlanta-area Walmarts that will undergo remodels include:

  • Blairsville Walmart Supercenter – 2257 Hwy 515
  • Commerce Walmart Supercenter – 30983 Highway 441 S
  • La Grange Walmart Supercenter – 803 New Franklin Rd
  • Loganville Walmart Supercenter – 4221 Atlanta Hwy
  • Oakwood Walmart Supercenter – 3875 Mundy Mill Rd
  • Snellville Walmart Neighborhood Market – 2912 W. Main St
  • Woodstock Walmart Supercenter – 12182 Highway 92

Additional spots that will see remodels include Augusta, Cordele, Grovetown, Hinesville, Jesup and Rincon.
