Legacy Ventures is closing the Perimeter Mall location of its Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria restaurant.

Tuesday, December 24 will be Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria’s last day, at 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd #2090, a company spokesperson in an email Tuesday told What Now Atlanta (WNA).

The hospitality company’s original downtown location will continue “as-is.”

“Legacy Ventures is saddened to share the news we will be closing our Perimeter Mall location of Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria on Tuesday, December 24 at 3 p.m.,” according to a prepared statement shared with WNA.

“We are thankful for the last two years of business in the Dunwoody area and encourage our guests to visit our Downtown location at 300 Marietta Street for our renowned coal-oven pizzas.”

Legacy Ventures has provided positions “at our other restaurant locations, to ensure no one is without a job during the holiday season.”

Max’s Coal Oven Pizzeria opened in Perimeter Mall in 2018 replacing Varasano’s Pizza.
