According to a recent interview in Community Impact, La Riv’s owner Vira Chudasma suggests the budding Italian restaurant may soon establish “new branches”.

“I plan on staying in the restaurant business for the rest of my life,” Chudasma said to Community Impact. “I think this is what I do the best. I love doing what I do. I absolutely love my job and we are continuing to grow.”

“It’s a neighborhood restaurant that specializes in Italian food, and you know we all love Italian food. It’s such a cool concept and I would absolutely love to see La Riv in multiple states,” Chudasma said.

When What Now Austin recently asked why she chose to open in Georgetown, Chudasma said “Georgetown has the best of both worlds—all the amenities a city can provide, but still with the charm of a small town. You could not pick a better place in the entire United States than Georgetown.”

“The menu is very modern Italian,” Chudasma explained. “It’s an open-concept kitchen & restaurant—you’ll be able to dine in the kitchen and see the paste being made in-house, you’ll be able to see our wood-fired grill. Bringing that old Italian freshness is our goal.”

No potential addresses have been announced.
