A brand new family-owned restaurant is headed to Round Rock by way of the New York—Home Kitchen, a breakfast and brunch establishment, aims to soon make its debut at 2471 A W Grimes Blvd (Building 110).

“My father has been in the restaurant business for 20 years,” Jason Melgar tells What Now Austin. “His dream has always been to have a restaurant in the Austin area.”

Melgar explains that the restaurant will occupy “amazing modern aesthetic” and serve Northeastern-style breakfast food—Omelettes, french toast, paninis, and house specialties such as their famous Luly’s sandwich.

“It’s a big opportunity for us to give Austin a better breakfast dining experience; we want to put a smile on everyone’s faces.”

Per the team’s estimates, Home Kitchen will be up and running in Fall 2024.
