According to a recent press release, a San Antonio-based real estate management firm, LB Development, is developing The Sycamore, a new mixed-use lifestyle center coming to Fredericksburg, TX in 2025. The 117-acre development, located on Luckenbach Road along the Highway 290 Wine Trail, will feature Salt Lick BBQ and the new Salt Lick Cellars, a tasting room and shop for The Salt Lick’s brand of wines and more.
“We could not think of a better place to plant our roots than in Fredericksburg,” said The Salt Lick owner and pitmaster Scott Roberts. “We have found the perfect partner in The Sycamore, and can’t wait to see the whole project come to fruition.”
“We are committed to bringing the same top-notch food and service to the development and hope to add some flair and excitement with the addition of The Salt Lick BBQ, Salt Lick Cellars, and a brand new soon-to-be-announced concept that we’re very excited about. It’s something we have had in the works for quite some time.”
The press release states that the Sycamore development will be built around the Ellipse, a central amenity the length of a football field, that will connect shops and restaurants located at the development. The promenade will feature landscaped walkways, creek beds, a bandstand and shaded canopies. It will be programmed throughout the year to showcase celebrations, holidays, local and regional gatherings and events.
