San Antonio’s Stout House Debuting in Austin

Construction is estimated to cost $500,000.

According to The Austin Business Journal, San Antonio beverage establishment, Stout House, will be opening its debut Austin outpost in at 6406 N. I-35 Frontage Road within The Linc. The report states construction will begin in about two months, citing Stout House owner Doug Ackerly.

The news follows a recent interview with What Now San Antonio, in which Ackerly said “we’ve got big plans to keep expanding throughout San Antonio and surrounding cities.”

The Business Journal adds that the space will be around 2,000 square feet and feature a 600-square-foot patio. Construction is estimated to cost $500,000.

Readers can expect to find big-screen TVs, darts, pool tables, and open seating concepts for large groups at Stout House along with an active event schedule covering live music and DJs, karaoke nights, UFC fights, and game nights.

Readers unfamiliar with Stout House may recognize other brands in Ackerly’s broader SATX Bars, including The Hangar and Stetson brands.
