Teapioca Lounge, the national boba chain, will soon be coming to Hutto, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 571 Ed Schmidt Blvd, just next to Rio Grande Mex.

“Our specially curated menu features authentic Taiwanese offerings with a new spin!” the brand states on their official website. “Teapioca’s delicious drinks and desserts are true to their origin, from the Taiwanese snow ice desserts down to the cream and fresh fruit tea. No matter your order, we know you won’t regret your selection!”

Apart from boba drinks, readers unfamiliar with the brand can expect to find a surprisingly wide range of refreshments such as coffee, smoothies, lemonade, frapiocca, slushies, juices, and more.

Public records examined by What Now Austin state that the construction will consist of “interior finish work of 1500 sf tea shop with 2 restrooms, a service area, kitchen, storage room and a dining room.”

Costing an estimated $150,000, Teapioca Lounge will begin its build-out in September and is estimated to reach completion in January 2024.
