Tim Hortons is planning a new location in Leander. According to public filings, the new location is planned at 15513 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Suite 110, with construction to wrap by the end of the year.
A review of public records indicates that the location is part of TexBrew LLC’s ongoing rollout of Tim Hortons locations across the Austin metro. What Now Austin reached out to TexBrew LLC for additional details, including a projected opening timeline, but did not receive a response before publication.
TexBrew’s push in Leander lands amid a broader wave of Tim Hortons growth across the state, led by other franchisee groups. What Now Austin recently reported on a new Manor location under franchisee Mehtaab Brar, while What Now San Antonio has covered the brand’s entry into that market under CO3 Companies, with locations at Redland Plaza and on Blanco Road.
Founded in Canada in 1964, Tim Hortons has grown to more than 4,900 locations internationally, with U.S. growth historically concentrated in New York, Michigan, and Ohio before the brand pushed into Texas and Florida in recent years. The chain built its reputation on its Original Blend coffee, brewed fresh every 20 minutes, along with hand-dipped and glazed donuts, Timbits, and made-to-order breakfast sandwiches with freshly cracked eggs. Its menu has since expanded to include cold brew, iced coffee, Iced Capps, specialty lattes, paninis, and wraps for lunch.
