The popular fitness company is again looking at a city between two major metros.
The latest Crunch Fitness for Southeast Texas is coming to 917 TX-80 in San Marcos this year.The company continues to expand in the Austin and San Antonio markets, and this is their second gym for San Marcos. As the permitting was just recently filed for the state, an opening date has not yet been announced.
Locations offer group fitness classes that are cardio-based, a full gym with weights and personal trainers. Cardio machines include traditional treadmills and ellipticals. The company encourages all kinds of workout intensities and styles.
Undefeated Tribe, the franchise company behind the location, currently operates over 50 gyms around the country. The team is planning on more expansion in the South, and already has a significant presence in the Lone Star State. When contacted, the owners were not available for comment.
The plaza is at the intersection of I-35 N Frontage Road, and the interstate passes right above it. This would join the Ikea, Hobby Lobby and Quarter to Ten beauty supply store at the building. This is about 30 miles south of downtown Austin.
