Pure Sweat Studios, the national wellness franchise known for infrared sauna, float therapy, and cold plunge services, is bringing a new location to Austin. According to public filings, the studio is planned for Unit 133 at 2323 S. Lamar Blvd, with a completion targeted for December 2026.

What Now Austin has reached out to Pure Sweat Studios representatives to inquire about an opening timeline and will update this story with any response.

Pure Sweat Studios built its concept around full-spectrum infrared sauna cabins from Sunlighten, offering near-, mid-, and far-infrared wavelengths designed to promote detoxification, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. Beyond sauna suites, the brand also offers float therapy in Epsom salt tanks and contrast therapy that pairs heat exposure with cold plunges.

The South Lamar address places the new studio in one of Austin’s busiest wellness and retail corridors, within walking distance of Zilker Park and Barton Springs. The South Lamar studio would further expand the area’s growing wellness scene, joining a corridor already home to several sauna and recovery-focused businesses as demand for holistic wellness services continues to rise.

The company currently operates studios across Tennessee, Utah, Georgia, North Carolina, California, Washington D.C., and beyond, with several more locations in development nationwide.
