Tennessee’s BBQ Announces Closure of Framingham Outpost
After 30 wonderful years of service, Tennessee’s BBQ is preparing to close its Framingham restaurant. The casual and family-friendly legendary BBQ spot is well-known for serving authentic Southern-style barbecue cuisine.
Located at 341 Cochituate Road in Framingham, MA, the restaurant was founded in 1996. The menu includes Memphis full slab ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, and Texas beef ribs.
Tennessee’s BBQ announced the closure on its website. The team stated, “July 5th will be the last day that the Framingham location will be open. After 30 years, this Tennessee BBQ location will be permanently closing this location.”

The restaurant team has not shared any specific reason for its closure.
Legacy of the Beloved BBQ Restaurant
The restaurant is one of Tennessee’s award-winning BBQ restaurants and has a strong following across the state. The restaurant became popular for its bold flavors. The meat is marinated and cooked with Tennessee’s BBQ’s signature dry rubs and high-quality ingredients, giving it a special, rich texture. Guests can also choose from three house sauces: sweet, tangy, and spicy.
The restaurant has earned several recognitions, including the Best of Boston Award, Best BBQ in Boston, and more.
Even though the Framingham location of Tennessee’s BBQ is closing, the BBQ staple will continue to serve the community from its other location.
