A popular seafood spot is returning to the town where it first cast anchor.
Salty Days Fish Co. is opening its second location in the Hingham Shipyard at 19 Shipyard Dr, according to a press release. The eatery will take over the current home of Boathouse Bistro & Pizzeria, which is relocating to a new space in Hull.
Founded in 2020 as a tiny Hingham fish market, Salty Days opened its first full-service restaurant in Cohasset in 2022. The eatery’s signature sushi is paired with a broad, seafood-centric menu, featuring fresh fare like poke bowls, salads, rolls, and sandwiches.
Owners Sean and Joanne McDaniel are excited to bring those same staples to Hingham, along with some exciting additions. Guests can look forward to festive patio dining, a full bar with creative cocktails, and new menu items to be unveiled at the opening—available for both dine-in and takeout.
“We’re thrilled that after a long search to find a way to return to Hingham, Salty Days will officially be landing in the Shipyard,” said Sean McDaniel.
