Dave’s Hot Chicken is bringing the heat to Boston’s North Shore.

The Nashville-style hot chicken chain is set to open a new location in Peabody‘s Northshore Mall, located at 210 Andover Street. Slated to debut in mid-August 2026, the fast-casual eatery will find its home on the Promenade, next to Amigo’s Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar, according to a page within the mall’s website.

Known for its massive chicken tenders and sliders, Dave’s has built a following by letting guests choose their spice levels, ranging from “No Spice” all the way to the infamous “Reaper,” which requires customers to sign a waiver before digging in. Meals are served with pickles, a side of Dave’s Sauce, and sliced white bread to help tame the heat.

“Famous for its juicy tenders, crispy sliders, and customizable heat levels, Dave’s offers a crave-worthy experience for every chicken lover,” the Northshore Mall website states. “Made with fresh ingredients and packed with unforgettable flavor, it’s the perfect stop for a satisfying meal or a quick bite while you shop.”

Founded as an East Hollywood parking lot pop-up by four friends in 2017, Dave’s has grown into a global sensation with nearly 400 locations across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom. Massachusetts alone is home to 14 locations.

Franchisee Almerindo Graziano confirmed that he is behind the Northshore Mall location. According to an earlier report from Franchising.com, Graziano and business partner Bob Quinlan signed an agreement in 2021 to develop 10 Dave’s Hot Chicken restaurants throughout the northwest Boston region and surrounding markets.

Dave’s is just one of several new additions coming to Northshore Mall. The Daily Item reports that Fogo de Chão, Shake Shack, and Lids Locker Room are also expected to open in the coming weeks. Looking ahead, the mall plans to welcome DICK’S House of Sport in the fall of 2027, followed by the opening of the new Residence Inn by Marriott Peabody next spring.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new offerings to our dynamic lineup at Northshore Mall,” said Alexandra Meadus-Pitcher, the mall’s director of marketing. “We’re bringing in a mix of brands that spans elevated dining, fast-casual favorites, and fan-focused retail, giving guests more reasons than ever to visit, stay longer, and truly enjoy everything the center has to offer. We are looking forward to bringing these exciting brands to the North Shore community.”
